This Saturday, Oct 6th is Worldwide Day of Play, a day created by Nickelodeon to get kids off the couch and involved in a fun activity! Here are some local Worldwide Day of Play events:
Global Day of Play & Cardboard Challenge at Mounds Park Academy (2051 Larpenteur Ave E, St. Paul). 9:00am to Noon. Come play with us! Children of all ages, from communities throughout Minnesota, will build awesome things out of cardboard and imagination. Organized by the Imagination Foundation and inspired by the short film and global phenomenon, Caine’s Arcade (www.cainesarcade.com), similar events will take place at sites in 25 countries on four continents – Mounds Park Academy is the first and currently the only Global Cardboard Challenge host in Minnesota. This event was created to foster creativity and encourage entrepreneurship in kids. FREE
