During the Thrifty Gifts special event at Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores & Donation Centers, shoppers will find new merchandise in original packaging at a fraction of the original retail price. Disney on Ice presents Passport to Adventure in St. Paul December 12 – 15: Opening night tickets only $12!

I’ve taken my daughter Heidi to two Disney on Ice shows in the past couple years and both times we had a blast! The shows are so spectacular, well-choreographed and entertaining. It’s so fun to see familiar Disney characters coming out on stage and hearing your child calling out “It’s Ariel, mommy!”

Disney on Ice is coming back to the Twin Cities next month for “Passport to Adventure” on December 12th – 15th. This time I’m planning to take both our kids, now that Thor is 3 and a little older.

Arc’s Value Village Store Expansion Celebration in New Hope – Saturday, November 16

Try Hockey for Free Day is Saturday, November 3, 2013!

USA Hockey and over 500 local programs across the country will encourage kids, ages 4 to 9, to come to a local participating rink and try youth hockey as part of the NHL’s Come Play Hockey Month. All locations have a limited amount of equipment available for use.

There are a couple dozen participating rinks in the Twin Cities area. Select a location and register online.
