Drive the Zoo! Minnesota Zoo offers “Beastly Boulevard” Drive-Thru Experience (June 24 – July 5)
The Minnesota Zoo has been closed for several months due to COVID-19, but to offer visitors something during this time of social distancing, they have opened up part of the Zoo to cars.
It’s called the “Beastly Boulevard” and brings visitors through portions of their Northern Trail and Wells Fargo Family Farm. You’ll see bison, pronghorn, llamas and more from the safety of your car.
It’s open for a limited time – June 24th – July 5th, from 10:00am – 4:00pm. They limit the road to 500 cars a day so it doesn’t get too backed up.
Unfortunately, it’s not the cheapest – for one car it’s $50. For members, it’s $25. But people are paying for it already – their first few days are already sold out. And it will help support the Zoo during these financially difficult times.
