About the Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice Exhibit
The exhibit opened this May and is there through September 6th, 2021.
We visited the museum this summer and checked it out!
Due to the ongoing pandemic, non-members have to reserve your tickets online in advance (members can go anytime). Masks are strongly encouraged, and there are many hand sanitizer and cleaning stations throughout the museum.
We visited in January when there were more restrictions, and the whole place was very clean and there was plenty of space between people.
This time it felt the same but with some more people than before.
We stopped at the cafe for beverages (I always have to get my favorite Starbucks Caramel Macchiato!).
The Dinosaurs Exhibit!
On the 4th floor you’ll find the Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice Exhibit!
There are dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes, including a Tyrannosaurus Rex!
Everything is nicely spaced apart and there is room to play. We loved the “volcano”!!!!
There is a “Field Research Station” with several interactive play areas, including a dig site where kids can dig for “bones.”
Kids can learn about history and the Cretaceous period by playing with dinosaurs!
Check out my video walk-through of the exhibit!
Learn more about the exhibit at the MCM website.
SO MUCH MORE at the Minnesota Children’s Museum
EVERYTHING is now open…so we explored everything, including Tip Top Terrace outside! We loved checking out the plants, kaleidoscope and other activities.
