
Veterans Day is a day to honor those who have given so much to our country. Veterans Day 2020 is on Wednesday, November 11th and many retailers and restaurants are offering freebies and discounts to Veterans and their families.
Below is the list of Veterans Day Freebies for 2020. Keep in mind that for most you will need to provide proof of your active military or veteran status to take advantage of these deals. Some deals, under “Freebies & Online Deals” are good for anyone!
Also, note that many annual deals are being offered differently this year due to COVID-19. For example, Hy-Vee’s free breakfast for veterans is available curbside this year.

Free Admission to National Parks – Every year on November 11th you can get free admission into any National Park nationwide.
Restaurants:
Many places offers Active Duty Service Members, Guard Members and Veterans a FREE Meal on Veterans Day. Make sure you pass on this information to anyone you know who is a Veteran or Active Duty so they can snag a free meal too! All places require proof of military service, proof of service includes Military ID, Discharge Papers, DD214 and being in uniform. What proof of service required depends on the restaurant.
Applebee’s: Each year, veterans are invited to pick from one of 7 free meals as a Thank you to service members. Check with your local Applebee’s this year.
Bakers Square – This Veterans Day, Bakers Square is offering Active Duty and Retired Military a free breakfast that includes:Two eggs, any style served with seasoned hash browns or fresh fruit and your choice of toast, buttermilk pancakes, English muffin, bakery muffin, or biscuit.
Chili’s: Is offering all military veterans past and present their choice of one of 7 meals. Offer only available at participating Chili’s in the U.S. only. Dine-in from limited menu only.
Country Kitchen – Free Country Scramble breakfast for active and retired military on November 11th.
Denny’s: Get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast on Nov. 11 from 5 a.m.- noon.
Dunkin’ Donuts – Free donut of your choice for veterans and active duty military, no purchase necessary. November 11th only.

Duck Donuts – In honor of #VeteransDay November 11th, Duck Donuts is offering 2 Donuts and a Coffee free to all veterans and active duty service members (with ID). Thank you for your service! In Minnesota, they have one location in Woodbury.
Golden Corral – Military appreciation night is a longer event this year. Military Appreciation Event will run from November 1, 2020 – May 31, 2021. Promotional cards for one FREE “Thank You” Meal will be distributed during the month of November, and can be redeemed November 1, 2020 – May 31, 2021.
Green Mill – Green Mill honors our military on Veterans Day with a free menu item. (Also save 10% every day.)

Hy-Vee – Hy-Vee is offering a free curbside breakfast for veterans and active military members on November 11th from 6 – 10 A.M.
Little Caesars® Pizza: Veterans and active duty service members receive a free $5 Lunch Combo, which features four slices of Little Caesars popular Detroit-style DEEP!DEEP!™ Dish pizza, paired with a 20-ounce Pepsi product between 11:00am – 2:00pm.
Outback Steakhouse: All military veterans, active servicemen and women can enjoy a FREE Bloomin’ Onion and Coca-Cola on November 11th. Veterans receive 10% off every day.
Red Robin: FREE Tavern Double Burger with Steak Fries within certain dates in November. Veterans and Active Military who are Red Robin Royalty members can redeem their FREE Tavern Double Burger with Steak Fries any time between 11/12 and 11/30 for Dine-in or To-Go. The offer will be automatically uploaded to your dashboard.
Starbucks – This Veterans Day (Nov 11), Starbucks is giving a free tall (12-ounce) hot brewed coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses at participating U.S. Starbucks stores. Starbucks is also donating 25 cents for every cup of hot brewed coffee sold nationwide on Nov. 11 to be divided evenly between Team Red, White & Blue and Headstrong to support the mental health and the wellbeing of military communities.
Taco John’s – On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Taco John’s is giving away a FREE small Beef #1 Combo Meal to all active, reserve, retired and honorably discharged members of the U.S. military.
TCBY – Veterans and active military receive their first 6 oz free on November 11 with proof of service.
Wendy’s – To thank all of those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Military, Wendy’s nationwide are offering a free small breakfast combo with valid military ID. No purchase necessary. The deal runs from from 6:30 – 10:30 a.m. Check your local Wendy’s as breakfast hours may vary by location.
