I recently saw a Facebook post showing that the Home Depot is offering FREE Kids Workshop Kits that you can take home. You just need to ask for them.
This is in lieu of their FREE monthly kids workshops that are on hiatus due to COVID. So instead they’re offering free kids workshop kits that you can do at home.
They’re not advertising this much but I checked and found out it’s TRUE!
The new kits are available the first Saturday of the month, but you can also ask for them at customer service.
We stopped by a Home Depot location in the Twin Cities and I asked a team member about the free kits. She asked how many I wanted – I only had one of my kids with me but I said two – and she went to an area near the front of the store to pull out 2 kits for me. We thanked her and are now excited to share this!
Each month the kits are different and this month they are fire truck kits. There’s no paint included but all the parts and instructions are.
Kits have the instructions in both English and Spanish (the instructions are two-sided).
I checked out the Home Depot website and found instructional videos that go along with the free kits they offer each month!
Here’s the one that goes with the ladder truck:
They also have a ton of other DIY ideas and kits that you can purchase too!
