The Minnesota State Fair was cancelled for 2020, but there will still be fun to be had at the fairgrounds!
Dinosaurs are coming to the fairgrounds in a safe drive-thru experience the weekends of July 31 – August 2, and August 7-9!
What is it?
It’s called Dinosaur Adventure!
From their website:
“Bring the entire family to Dinosaur Adventure Drive-Thru where you can take a prehistoric tour featuring 80 life sized dinosaurs. See a 40 foot T-Rex, 30 foot Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, and more – all from the comfort of your vehicle.”
Tickets are $40 for one vehicle passenger car, SUV, mini van, or pickup truck up to 7 people.
A larger vehicle is $70, and you can add on an Adventure Pack for $29 which comes with a backpack filled with goodies and a T-shirt.
We bought a ticket for opening night and can’t wait!
Be sure to get your tickets in advance online because you can’t get them at the door!
And once you’re in, you can’t get out of your vehicle until the end.
I’m not aware of any discounts at this time but if you know of any, please share!
Visit their website for more information.
We can buy tickets for August 16th – However all advertising says it ends on August 9. I don’t want to purchase tickets and not have the show there. Can you verify the dates please.
