One of our favorite places to visit in the Twin Cities is the Science Museum of Minnesota. Last October we enjoyed a visit to their newly remodeled Omnitheater and saw the movie Superpower Dogs. You may have read my review of our experience – it was awesome!
Well, unfortunately, like many attractions, the Science Museum and Omnitheater are closed for now, but through (at least) June 15th, you can host your own Omnifest at home for free!
Giant Screen Films has released several films you can watch at home for free!
These films include Dinosaurs Alive!, Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs, and Wild Ocean.
UPDATE – June 13, 2020:
They have now added more films, including National Parks Adventure and The Living Sea which are available to rent for 48 hours from Amazon for $3.99 each. (They are also available for download purchase.)
There are a total of 9 films available! Four are FREE, including one NEW one – “America’s Musical Journey.”
(There are 10 listed actually but the link for the Van Gogh one didn’t work at this time.)
