The Minnesota State Fair is almost here! If you’re planning on going with your kids, I highly recommend visiting the Minnesota Farm Bureau’s exhibit – the Minnesota Farmers CARE display.
The Minnesota Farmers CARE display is located at 1305 Underwood Street (across from the Food Building and behind the Giant Yellow Slide). This is where fair-goers can learn the Farm to Table story, meet a farmer, enjoy some fun activities and enter to win prizes!
The Minnesota Farm Bureau is a grassroots organization that strives to connect farmers and consumers by creating conversations surrounding farming today.
Some highlights of the display:
–Minnesota farmers from across the state will be available to answer questions consumers may have regarding farm life and food topics.
-Enter a drawing to win a free children’s book from this list of five: Clarabelle: Making Milk and So Much More, Little Joe, Oh Say Can You Seed, The Apple Orchard Riddle, and The Kid Who Changed the World.
-Enter a drawing for a free rain barrel.
-Take pictures in a photo booth and upload to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with the hashtag #MNFarmersCARE to be entered into a drawing for one of two $250 grocery card giveaways!
