Pregnant moms! There’s a shop where you can buy gently used maternity clothing, and it’s called Bellies to Babies. Here’s an article I posted about them last year!
I just learned that Bellies to Babies is “expanding” in the Twin Cities with the addition of 2 new previously loved maternity stores: 912 Mainstreet in Hopkins and 8833 Jefferson Highway in Osseo, bringing the total store count to 4! See locations HERE.
Now, expecting moms can conveniently shop for previously loved maternity clothing and save 80% off department store prices.
See Bellies to Babies Facebook for updates! Check them out!
NOT WORTH SELLING CLOTHES AT BELLIES TO BABIES OSSEO!!!! I brought in a bunch of clothes and picked them back up on Sunday, June 26th after Carrie had gone through the clothes, she said she was only able to take a FEW things and she offered me $15. I said okay and left; that was the BIGGEST mistake. I got home and looked into what was gone, there was a decent number of really really nice items gone (dresses, swim suits, shirts, shorts, name grand items, etc.). I am sure she will sell each individual piece for around the total she offered me; a number of the individual pieces for a whole lot more. She never showed me what she took; she made it seem like it was nothing. I understand that I should have insisted on seeing the items, but I didn’t expect her to be to dishonest about the number of items. I understand she has to resell the stuff, but I feel really really taken. I now wish I would had sought out a pregnant women in need of clothes to give them away. I called and tried to confront Carrie; she spoke with me, but she tried to talk over me and in the end she hung-up on me. I never yelled during the conversation and I never used any type of fowl language. I did simply ask her to let me finish my sentence a number of times; sometimes she stopped, sometimes she didn’t. There was no need to hang-up on me. I know that she felt insulted that I said the transaction was dishonest, but that it not an excuse. I tried to contact her on Monday, but she never responded. She was closed yesterday; when I called today (Wednesday), she answered and had no choice but to speak with me. The fact that she didn’t respond to my message form Monday morning, leads me to think she definitely knew what she was doing when dealing with me.
