Red Gold recently sent me a summer grillin’ pack with a variety of Red Gold tomatoes so I can share their current summer promotion.
During the Facebook promotion, which ends on July 23rd, Red Gold will hold a weekly drawing for 1,000 aprons in addition to a grand prize of a Big Green Egg Grill and Red Gold Grilling kit. Plus, each week they’re releasing new recipes, videos and pictures plus summer grilling tips. Check it out:

The Red Gold Summer Grillin’ Pack I received included 6 varieties: Red Gold Diced & Green Chilies, Chili Ready, Basil Garlic and Oregano, Lime & Cilantro and Diced Tomatoes. It also included a Red Gold apron and recipes for great summer grilling including a Stuffed-Veggie Portobello Burger, Italian Turkey Burger, the Easy Tuna Burger and Red Gold’s favorite Spicy Tomato Burger.

1 pound ground chicken
1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes W/Lime Juice & Cilantro, drained very well or 1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes With Chipotle, drained very well
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Salt and black pepper to taste
Combine ground chicken, RED GOLD® PETITE DICED TOMATOES with LIME JUICE & CILANTRO, egg and bread crumbs in a bowl. Form into patties and season with salt and black pepper.
Place on grill and cook to desired temperature, 160º for completely cooked burgers.
Special Accompaniments:
Serve on toasted bun or lettuce leaf
Guacamole, avocado or grilled pineapple slice
Top with Mango Chutney or Fruit Salsa
