The Bakken Museum. Though not Father’s Day specific, admission is always FREE on the second Saturday of the month. This Saturday, June 14th from 11:00 – 4:00 their theme is Garden Party!
Boston Market – On Sunday only, buy any BBQ Ribs meal, get one FREE with this coupon.
Caribou Coffee – On Sunday only, Buy one get one free handcrafted drink. Print or show coupon on mobile device from Caribou’s facebook page.
Como Zoo. Always free (though donations are welcome). Just in time for Father’s Day, Como Zoo has unveiled its newest permanent exhibit featuring nature’s “super dad”, the seahorse.

German Days at the Germanic-American Institute. St. Paul. Both Saturday and Sunday. German musicians, dancers and vendors. Sunday is family day with kid-friendly games and activities throughout the day!
Midtown Global Market. 5:30 – 7:30pm. Midtown Global Market will celebrate Father’s Day at Family Night on Friday, June 13. Join Midtown Global Market for an evening of music with the “New Distractions” and a Father’s Day themed craft for the kids and a scavenger hunt for the kiddies!
Minnesota Children’s Museum – Get FREE Museum admission all day Sunday 9:00 – 5:00. Admission is free the 3rd Sunday of every month. Check out my review with photos here.
National Get Outdoors Day – FREE admission to all Minnesota State Parks this Saturday, June 14th. Also, many free outdoor events nationwide! There’s a free event going on at Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis on Saturday from 12:00 – 4:00pm to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day. Try canoeing, fishing, cycling, paddleboarding and more. Oliver H. Kelley Farm – Dads get in free Saturday (10-5) and Sunday (12-5) when accompanied by a child. Check out my review with photos here. This Father’s Day join the Kelley Farm staff as they work on typical 19th-century “fancy chores,” such as building feed boxes, repairing equipment and fences, and caring for the livestock. Guests can also bake treats in the farm house and help water and weed in the garden.
Sam’s Club – Not the most exciting freebie, but Sam’s Club is offering free health screenings for men on Saturday, June 14th from 11:00 – 3:00. Tests include glucose, total cholesterol, blood pressure and more. Screenings are open to everyone – members and non-members. Locations include Twin Cities area stores – search online for one with a pharmacy that’s participating.
Sky Zone Minneapolis and Sky Zone St. Paul – Dads (and moms) jump FREE on Sunday, June 15th with the purchase of a child’s jump pass!
Stone Arch Bridge Festival – Take dad to the Minneapolis Riverfront this weekend! On Saturday and Sunday enjoy 2 days of art and music from 250 artists on three performance stages, plus activities, a family art park and a Father’s Day car show. Free admission.

Three Rivers Park District. The Three Rivers Park District is offering various fun events for dads. For example:
