My family just saved 34% on our groceries at Cub Foods today using the new Cub Foods Digital e-Couponing Program!
It can be time-consuming to clip paper coupons, but Cub now streamlines all of that by allowing MY CUB REWARDS™ members to simply load valuable digital coupons available on Cub.com or the Cub Foods mobile app directly to their rewards card, therefore also saving time. It’s time to “stop clipping and start clicking.”
Here’s how it works and how we saved money:
1. Sign up for Cub Rewards.
I signed up for a free Cub Rewards card in-store. You can also sign up online.
2. Prepare your shopping list.
When preparing for a grocery shopping trip, I create and printe a shopping list at pocketyourdollars.com. There you can find lists that match weekly in-store deals with coupons for many grocery stores in the Twin Cities including Cub.
3. Load digital coupons on your Cub Rewards card.
I logged onto cub.com and loaded the coupons I needed to my card.
It was easy to just browse through the coupons and select them. You can select manufacturer’s coupons as well as Cub store coupons.
When you’re done selecting coupons, you can print your “shopping list” to take with you so you remember all the coupons you saved on your card!
You can also download the Cub Foods app to view your shopping list on your mobile device.
4. Go shopping!
I took my family to Cub Foods to buy our groceries. Heidi and Thor love the “fun carts” where they can “drive” around the store with us.
Then we did our shopping around the store. We had no problem finding everything we needed.
Though I had printed coupons with me (I always carry coupons with me), except for one expired coupon I used (Cub accepts all manufacturer’s coupons up to 30 days after they expire), all that was needed was my Cub Rewards card.
And our savings printed on the receipt – we saved $26.65 or 34%! That’s pretty cool considering how easy and quick the whole experience was (well, quick except for a few times when the kids wanted to buy toys and candy – maybe we won’t take them next time!).
To save yourself time and money with Cub eCoupons, visit Cub.com to sign up and select your coupons right away!
(Disclosure: I received $50 in Cub gift cards to use to try out the digital couponing program and share my experience here. All opinions are 100% mine.)
