Minnesota teachers and parents of 6th graders!
Great news! There’s a new 6th grade Minnesota History Pass that grants Minnesota 6th graders FREE admission to the Minnesota Historical Society’s 26 historic sites and museums statewide now through August 2014. It allows children to explore Minnesota history during non-school hours for FREE, and complements the new state social studies standards!
This applies to historical sites throughout the state including the Jeffers Petroglyphs in the south, the Minnesota History Center in the Twin Cities and Split Rock Lighthouse on the North Shore.
There’s no limit to how many times a Minnesota 6th grader can use the pass. (Parents, siblings and others accompanying each 6th grader must pay regular admission.)
More information and instructions can be found on the Minnesota Historical Society website.
