If you are planning a visit to Duluth this summer (or are looking for a great reason to visit!), Spirit Mountain has a ton of family fun year-round that’s well worth the drive!
After having grown up in Duluth, I’ve always known Spirit Mountain as THE place to go for awesome skiing fun in the winter (which doesn’t get much more “wintery” than in Duluth!).
But they also have fantastic summer fun for those summer weekend getaways or road trips.
Our family rode the Alpine Coaster several years ago which I noted in my post Ten Ways to Enjoy Duluth for Less, and I’m SUPER excited that my family will be going back to enjoy it in July! My youngest will now be old enough to ride it and our oldest will be so happy to do it plus the zip line now that she’s older!
In addition to their Adventure Park, did you know that there are also Adventure and Mountain Biking CAMPS for kids?
In elementary school in Duluth I remember my favorite field trip – we spent a day mountain biking on trails in Duluth! So I’m excited to hear that Spirit Mountain also offers day camps where kids can learn skills and explore nature! I wish they had this option when I was a kid!
One that stuck out for me on their list is their Adventure Camp which includes fun time at their Adventure Park! They also offer a “Strider Camp” to introduce the littlest kiddos to riding a bike for the first time.
Spirit Mountain has options for ages 2 through 15, and varying from a whole week to a single day, so whether you live there or are just visiting for a short time, you should check it out!
Dates are in June and July so hurry while they still have spaces left.
